MA / MSc

       

The Master's Degree in Music Technology is a 12-month intensive course that is designed specifically for those with a special interest in electronic/computer music, composition, sound design and sound art. The course is aimed at graduates who are interested in combining technological competence with artistic endeavour.

Entrance Requirements:

A primary degree with first or second-class honours (or equivalent) and demonstrable musical and experience;
OR
An equivalent capability based on significant and substantial prior professional experience.

Interviews will be required in all cases as well as an audition, where necessary.

Applicants must have at least Grade 4 Music Theory (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) standard.

Students completing the Masters are awarded either an MSc. or an MA depending on their final research activities.
